Arab Street, Singapore (Kampong Glam)

This is how i spend time with my hubby. Going around looking for interesting things and places. The Malays buy beautiful fabrics here for their 'Baju Kurong' (Malay Tradisional Costume). This street is especially busy on the month of Ramadhan (Fasting month). Full of vendors selling food for 'Breakfast' . An Indian man selling colourful baskets. These baskets are used for hampers and for weddings. These Shophouses are preserved. It is part of Singapore's Heritage. The 'Sultan Mosque' one of the oldest.... Along the sides, are favourite tourist spots. Nice place to be...with for a cup of coffee and a book on your hand. The quiet atmosphere. It's so soothing here. An Old 'Mahjong' set sold in a shop selling Cheong Sam.
